Talked to Steve Jordan.
He says try to show people how to make 5,000 in the next 30 days.
Basically talk to three people today for five days, 15 people over the next week.
Signed up three people out of 15.
Those people all need to talk to 15 people, and that's 45 people sign up 10 people.
The next week have 10 people talk to 15 people, it's 150 people, and sign up 30 people.
The next week sign up 30 people, have them talk to 30 times 15 which is 450 people to sign up etc. etc. and it can go from there.

Prospecting for New Business Partners
4 types of prospecting:
a) The Hunter—seeks leads, bumps into people and talks about the business.
b) The Fisherman—always reeling people in, runs ads, runs flyers, always looking for cold contacts.
c) The Planter—looks for a seed in every conversation; every person talked to the conversation will lead to a way to talk about the business.
d) The Camper—follows up on a couple of people—building relationships.
General thoughts for building YOUR business:
“Do you want to make more money around what you are doing now?”
“Words are just words, unless you live by them. You have to Walk the Talk”
“We judge ourselves mostly by our intentions, but others judge us mostly by our actions”
“People hear what we say, but they see what we do. And seeing is believing”

20 ideas to gain more contacts
1-People's warm market—people you know and who they know.
2-Referrals—maybe you know someone who might be interested in joining my business.
3-Work place—customers that come to the place where you work. Example: as a server in the restaurant, the people who come and spend money.
4-“3 foot rule”—every person that comes with in 3 feet of you—bump ins.
5-Newspaper—call people who are advertising their services—they are looking for more income—so call them and offer to show them how they can make more money around what they are already doing. Call people who have cars for sale.
6-Going from business to business in a mall or strip mall. Go in ask for the manager and say you are expanding in this area and are looking for some leaders who want to make some more money around what they are already doing. Get there number and say you will call them in a couple days and do an interview to see if they fit in.
7-Running ads in student papers—see attached ads.
8-Chicken Lists—the people you do not or are afraid to talk to—send out a letter (group of letters), like at Christmas, telling what you are doing and f they have anyone who they think might be good to help you.
9-Internet leads—purchase lists from companies, then call them.
10-Car Ads on your car—“Great Money...No Boss” with a phone number.
11-Card stacks in businesses—nail salons, barber shops, sandwich shops, coffee shops…
“Make more money...looking to expand— Fortune 500 companies...phone number.”
12-Yearbooks—dig out your old yearbooks and look up some old friends from years gone by—go to your class reunions.
